Polygon and polyline objects

Polygon and polyline objects are shapes with multiple vertices. Polygons are closed shapes with faces. Polylines are unclosed shapes with only lines.

Adding Polygon and Polyline Objects

To add a polygon object, select on the toolbar; to add a polyline object, select and drag over the field. The number of vertices is set before adding. You cannot change the number of vertices after adding to the field.

Editing Placed Polygon and Polyline Objects

Once placed, polygon and polyline objects can be reshaped by dragging their individual vertices. The appearance of polygon and polyline objects can also be changed from the Tools menu that appears when they are selected. Multiple polygon and polyline objects can also be selected and modified at once.
