Export Images & Video

Tacticalista can export a board as a PNG image and create animated GIFs that join several scenes. Animation boards can also be exported as video.

Export menu

Press in the header.

The export menu opens (a static board with two or more scenes).

The items shown depend on the type and state of the board.

Item	Description
Export a PNG image (2D)	Saves the current scene (frame) as a PNG image.
Export / share image	On mobile, save the image or send it to another app from the share menu.
Export all scenes as PNG ZIP	Turns every scene of a static board into a PNG image and downloads them as a single ZIP file (Basic plan, with two or more scenes).
Export a PNG image (3D)	Saves an image of the 3D view while it is shown. → Exporting the 3D View
Create Gif connecting scenes	Creates an animated GIF that joins the scenes of a static board.
Export an animation (2D) / (3D)	Exports a video of an animation board. → Exporting Animation
Download project data	Saves the project as a file (.tact). You can set a password (leave it blank for none). The file can be uploaded from the project list.

Exporting a PNG image

Choose "Export a PNG image (2D)" to save the displayed scene as a PNG image. If the field is zoomed or panned, the displayed area becomes the image as it is.

Exporting all scenes as PNG

On the Basic plan, every scene of a static board can be exported as PNG images at once. The images are downloaded together in a ZIP file. Progress is shown during the export, and the board is locked until it finishes.

Exporting an animated GIF that joins scenes

Choose "Create Gif connecting scenes" in the export menu.

Turn on the switch for each scene to include, set the display times, and press "export animated GIF".

File names

Exported files are named with the project name and the date and time.

For videos, GIFs, and project data, you enter the file name after the export.

Watermark and free exports

On the Starter plan, each project can be exported three times without a watermark. From the fourth export onward, a Tacticalista logo watermark is added.

• The count is kept per project (file) and covers every export: 2D and 3D images, videos, and GIFs.
• The remaining number is shown each time you export. Canceled exports are not counted.
• Whether the field is zoomed makes no difference.
• On the Basic plan, no watermark is added regardless of the count.

Notes

• Another export cannot be started while one is in progress.
• The logo on the board is included in images. On the Basic plan, you can hide the logo or replace it with a custom logo.
